In his 37 year reign as emperor, he spent 7 years at peace and 30 years at war with almost everybody in Europe

Its soo ironic for me that he was born and raised in the Netherlands and his sons and offspring would lose the Netherlands almost entirely (or at least) the richest part while destrying the economy of the south Netherlands
