      Deus Ex Mankind Divided ended on a cliffhanger and then Edios Montreal got shut down. It wasn’t successful enough for a sequel apparently.

      Beyond good and evil (at this point i rather Ubisoft never Release whatever it was they were making, it’s just gonna be another disappointment like duke nukem forever or skull and bones)

      Worst ending to any series/game has to be the TV Series “Lie to me”, if you know you know.

      Deus Ex Mankind Divided. One of the best games of all time along with Human Revolution.

      Disco Elysium. Not on a literal cliffhanger but the ending implies that the revolution will be coming soon and that we would be able to explore the whole Jamrock. The loss of DE2 will haunt me forever

      Almost every famous AAA games. They can never let a single successful IP end/die. We should have Assassin Creed 2026, Assassin Creed 2027, 2028 etc.

      Massive respects for Fromsoft ending the Dark Souls series end with 3.

      Seeing how Command and Conquer turned out I would prefer it to end on a cliffhanger

      What feel even worse is games with cliffhanger ending and the Studio still exist, for example Megaman X and Megaman ZXA.

      Not the best recieved of the franchise, but I sure do wish that Camelot would be allowed to finish the story.

      The Shadow of Mordor series technically ended on a cliffhanger. Not for the MC thankfully, but there still was one. Unfortunately though Monolith was shut down plus with the Nemesis system patented we won’t see a game like that for a while

      Mega Man Legends comes to mind, except Capcom is going stronger than ever. My boy still stuck on the moon.
