Katrine Boorman… was the first sex scene I saw as child (12 or 13). I’d already ground scored an Egyptian theme porno mag at 8… but this scene… To say more would be indulgent.
Maybe it’s because I was very young but I felt this film bounced around quite a bit. What’s odd to me is I can honestly still hear the noise of the armor moving in my head and see mountain hermit Lancelot screaming Arthur!!! While close lining Mordred men at arms, lol.
I hated Helen Mirren for years because I hated her character so much in this movie. So well acted. I’ve since realized my view was false and she is now one of my fav actors of all time. Beautiful and brilliant. 100% herself.
