    1. The implication that the Taliban banned Bacha Bazi only because they are against homosexuality is wrong. Their first raids were about freeing girls held as sex slaves by local warlords.

      They are against child sexually slavery, the confusion is over how they allow child marriage.

      Their justification is that child marriage is very different than sexual slavery (brides can inherit, own property, divorce, etc) however child marriage is still very horrible.

      Edit: **these are the Taliban’s justifications, not mine, I didn’t think that would be hard to understand**
