As an American I can objectively and honestly see with my own two eyes that the Trump admin has done more for putin and Xi than for any American I know.

He has made us poorer at home and given Putin nearly everything he wants abroad. FULL STOP.

On purpose? I think so, but at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter, results matter.

    2. Not really, no.

I think that China benefits from this zany geopolitical situation more than anyone else, yes, but I don’t think that some kinda Chinese mechanism of power is creating this. Probably contributing to it, but to suggest that China is a mastermind to US problems that are decades if not centuries old is a weak read.

I see China as more just letting this happen and smiling. They already gained huge at the Strait of Hormuz in ways that the USA won’t be able to undo. But Americans did this to themselves, largely.

I also just generally don’t think that Russia is a Chinese puppet. I think that they have some things to cooperate on but that they rival more so than they work in tandem. They have very different aims and interests.

I’m pretty sure Trump has two masters that hold him on a leash: Netanyahu and Putin. Xi Jinping is the ultimate puppet master though, holding us all in a ring and playing from above.
