    1. Resembling a large pocket watch (approx. 11.5 cm diameter), this wind-up device features a hand-crank motor and a metal resonator, designed to play 78 RPM records without electricity. The Mikiphone was created by Hungarian designers Miklós and Étienne Vadász, and produced by Swiss company Paillard. Approximately 100,000 to 180,000 units were made, making them desirable to collectors today.
