I went to a lake in NC while traveling. I walked along the water front for 10 min and decided to climb this weird rock formation that led to an overlook of the lake. A few steps farther I was in a children’s graveyard with headstones from the late 1800 to early 1900 that looked just like this. Turns out there was a clear path right to it from the parking lot we didn’t go down. Super weird.

Sometimes tiny headstones like that are for babies who didn’t live long or were stillborn. Those would have been their initials had they lived.
