I also think this was at least partially staged but people fall or trip and accidentally fire their guns pretty regularly, so it’s not unbelievable. At any meeting where there’s a lot of guns there’s often one or two misfires. Gun shows have a shitload of accidental shootings, there was one in Florida where three different people were shot by accident in one day. Cops misfire a lot too like that old meme where the guy shoots himself in the leg. Still seems fishy to me though, but there’s that old saying “never assume ill intent when incompetence is most likely.”

Yeah the craziest thing is that nobody’s reporting on the fact that the hotel where this happened is the exact same hotel where an 81 John Hinckley shot Reagan then Reagan went on to win in 84 the largest Landslide electoral victory in history that’s just a weird coincidence huh not like somebody’s trying to recreate something
