Gonna go against the grain here and just say that genocide isn’t specific to white supremecists…
When sci-fi writes about aliens – all authors can do do is imprint the human condition and the need to conquer on aliens, because that’s definitely what we’d do if we ever discovered how to terraform another planet, and we’re assuming aliens would do the same thing

Shit, when I was in middle school (mid/late 90s) in north Florida, there used to be a guy that drove past our busstop every once in a while, screaming racial slurs at the non-white kids. His van was painted with some… interesting… symbols and words as well. Happened on and off for 3 or 4 months.
Dude was hella black. I (super white) was so freaking confused at what was even happening.

Only slightly related, but I have nowhere else to vent it: sometimes I swear they linger on brutal violence against Black people extra long in Invincible. Like a white perdón will get ripped in half and tossed away real quick, but we’ll see a Black person get ripped in half and sit on screen for like 3 seconds. Idk if I’m making it up but…
