I’ve found that filling another container from a soda fountain, keeping it sealed in the fridge, then pouring it into glasses later, comes out pretty crappy. And I typically prefer fountain soda.

If you’re able to recarbonate it, that’s a reasonable deal. 2 liter bottles, you can get a CO2 canister and a special cap to keep it fizzy.

I got three of these for $1 a piece on clearance and filled them with slurpees for one of our kids’ birthdays a few months back.
Well, full disclosure, one of them was for me and my gf. The Green day Kerplunk Candy Grape slush was an all time great one.
Regardless, wash em out and the refill cost makes these worthwhile if you use them a few times. Good for beach days and such, easier fit for the cooler
