What the right conveniently ignores is that when religious institutions step out of the religious sector – running schools, hospitals, and the like – they’re no longer immune from the rules that govern all public sector institutions.
That would be news to anyone that’s a Muslim. Heck this administration is even at war with the Catholic Church right now. Even Christ isn’t off limits.

4. Our money literally has “In God We Trust” on it

7. the PotUS has had an official Religious Advisor since 2001, and almost all Presidents have had a personal religious consultant
8. The US has an official “US Day of Prayer” (next week, coincidentally)

10. Protestant presidents are so common in the US, that the acronym “WASP” was created (among other obvious reasons).
