My dad got caught up and fought in two wars during the breakup of Yugoslavia, didn’t change anything except divide ourselves among vague superficial lines of microscopic differences.

So croatian language is basically what i did as a child, just reverse. I would write native words in Russian alphabet, while Croatian seems like Russian words in Latin alphabet.
