I took a hike once in Topanga canyon in LA and saw maybe 30 cars wrecked like that in the canyon. Anywhere from 1960’s era to a few that seemed brand new. Most of the wrecks didn’t seem survivable. Quite a bit more sobering hike than I had planned.
What a sad event but what a beautiful image it created. it looks just like a modern sculpture. Crazy world we lived in.
Kinda surprised the tires have air in them? Must have been filled with concrete or something at some point. 60+ years of dry rot and kids not throwing cave rocks at it?
