    1. The scale of that engineering project was legendary. Does he have any crazy stories from being down there?

He probably still has that same t-shirt, saved it for yard work days or something.

    3. I bet he’s a very boring person. (I joke, as in, drilling, boring, making tunnels. 😃 )

    4. Totally just glanced at the title and thought it read, “My dad working on the Channing Tatum in the 90s”

What did they say when he reached the other side?

      >Hey, Henry has come to see us!

    6. That’s so cool. It neat to be able to point to something and say “I built that!”. My grandfather was a carpenter and could point to some of the projects he worked on when I was a kid. As an adult, I’m envious of having something so tangible to be involved with.

I’d love to buy your dad a couple pints and bore (haha) him with questions

    7. I knew someone quite high up in one of the construction companies. He mentioned off handedly that it’s wired with explosives in case of invasion. I find it a bit hard to believe.

    8. “You know when they were digging the Chunnel there were teams doing this?!?”

      “Yeah? How many?”

      “TEAMS!”
