That is so weird. Even with the spike tarp they want to be on that car.

Well pickup trucks definitely have beds.

it’s a little funny that they make it work anyway, but mostly this is just depressing.
the car is already covered, their claws aren’t going to damage it and unless they are like a dozen 50lbs dogs all piling on top of each other neither is the weight. Why the hostile architecture?

I used to have an old mattress with a sharp spring poking out of the middle. This gave me flashbacks.

wtf is wrong with the person who put SPIKE TRAPS? You run the engine move a bit and they come down from the frickin car

I wish the neighborhood cats would decide this too instead of pissing all over my fucking car

Why not just give them a better place to sleep, they probably just want somewhere comfy and elevated.
It’s like trying to get your cat off the PC, just get a cat tower and put a heating pad on top. They won’t touch your PC ever again.

Time delay a 2nd set of spikes for 10min after first pressure is detected.

They won’t stop until people actively and repeatably shoosh them away every time they get up on the cars. Water should do the trick, along with dog whistles.

Surely it’s cheaper and easier to buy a dog bed and treats as an alternative than a spikey tarp.

I’m guessing those spikes are rubber?

They need a better place to sleep

I could see them in their weekly dog meeting: “Alright yall, last but not least, and this is coming from the top, cars are beds.“
