This is a great visual of the “bowling bumper” fate theory

I’ve never fully understood why randomness is an element of free will. Why is it considered that I don’t have a choice if given the exact same scenario and input conditions I always make the same choice?
If my choice was random, and not a matter of logical decision tree processes based on input parameters, I would feel less in control of myself. It would feel like dice controlled my life, instead of me.
Ultimately I believe that free will is more of a feeling we get where we believe we are in control of ourselves. Regardless of if all our choices are predetermined, I feel we are still responsible for our choices.

Is it really unpredictable, or are we just unable to predict it?
