What I would love to see adjacent to this is time adjusted travel if those people took other modes of transportation and the cumulative time adjustment.

I thought beforehand that the mode time would have been longer, but thinking about it more having seen this graph, it makes sense that the shortest flight planes can make a multitude of trips in the same time as the longest of flights.

That’s roughly what I’d have guessed. Were certain destinations overrepresented in the peaks at 8 and just under 10 hours? I’d guess they were mostly to/from certain intercontinental transport hubs, say Dubai and Singapore.
