    1. Trump historically hobbled his Secret Service detail with restrictions that a smarter President (i.e., all the other ones) would not. Not sure if that’s still the case these days or not but I’m sure it didn’t inspire loyalty.

    2. How did they royally screw up this time? The Secret Service succeeded in stopping the gunman from getting anywhere near the President.

Secret Service: *Does their jobs perfectly*

      Magats: “CONSPIRACY, you fuckups!”

    4. I genuinely think one of his intelligence officers is secretly plotting these events. Not planning but moreso knowing of a certified risk and being like “All clear boss man, have a good evening.”

This means the Secret service is in on these staged events.

      That should terrify everybody.

I propose an alternate theory. The events aren’t staged, the secret service just HATES Trump.

    6. Trump tore down the Secret Service during his first 4 years by rewarding loyalty over competence.

    7. Someone needs to tell that stupid bag of shit that there was a major incident during the Obama years. Some crazy guy pulled up in front of the White House and fired shots at it while Obama’s daughters and mother-in-law were inside. Secret Service thought it was a car backfiring and ignored it. They didn’t realize it was a shooting until about four days later, when they found some shell casings and a broken window on the White House property. The Secret Service agents are fuck-ups and have been for years.

I mean, I don’t believe it’s real but he has absolutely diluted the field of consummate professionals throughout all areas of our government so incompetence seems quite possible.

    9. Not to defend Trump, but during Obama several people were able to breach the White House. It really felt at the time like the Secret Service wanted Obama gone.

In hindsight and looking at history it turns out the Secret Service have never been good at their job.

    10. Er maybe because, unlike Obama, many people hate Trump so much, it’s worth the risk having a go?

    11. Because the secret service is all morons hired by the biggest morons of all. But i believe it was staged. Shoot we were even told shots will be fired before hand. And the toddler man child didn’t even move, because it was planned. Just like the ear, just like anything else he claims. Each have been publicly Republicans, with even family and friends stating how much they stood with the red flags. Meaning they took this man out who was randomly there, and placed a gun on him. There’s no way in hell the same secret service from Obama or Biden would have let a gun slip through. STAGED!

I’m not sure I’d consider this a screw up, dude rented the hotel room in advance, had weapons stored in his room, and didn’t make it past security. He never even got to the same floor as the event. Secret Service did its job here.

Butler and the golf course incidents however, were fuck ups.

What exactly is he insinuating here? That the Secret Service is in on it? I mean, they are, but not in the way he seems to think.

    14. I was in the military for 26 years and have a keen eye for people “smoking and joking” instead of doing their jobs. The video that Trump tweeted out had all the signs of the Secret Service agents socializing instead of scanning for possible threats. The gunman runs through the middle of the gaggle and they are caught by surprise and take a second or two to react to the threat. Textbook lack of security.

    15. Three of the incidents were resolved before the person got in sight of Trump. The only one where someone was shot near the president was the Butler incident.
