You don’t hear much about the assassinations that failed in history, only the ones that succeeded. ‘Assassinations used to have a 100% success rate’ just isn’t true… if that were the case we would never have had tyrants
There were a lot of assassination attempts made on Hitler’s life for example, most notably the July 20th plot. But all of them failed and he died by his own hand as the Soviets and the Americans were marching through Germany
