This is a great visualization and I was actually wondering about exactly this just a couple weeks ago.
If I may offer some constructive criticism, a darker blue would have been better to represent the CPC since that lighter shade more closely matches the colour used by the Bloc.
One other improvement could be to indicate when they had a majority. When the parliament is full, this would be at 171 seats but, because of the 3 vacant seats, they technically held a majority once they got to 169 seats.
