This used to be normal but now it’s some kind of perversion? Kinda sad lol.

What’s with calling your husband/partner daddy? I don’t understand what’s cringe about it. I understand the somewhat sexual connotation I guess? But not the implication. Not American.

    3. We don’t use terms of endearments in our country, so mums normally call dads as dad, daddy, papa, pa..etc.

Also, mums never call dads by their names for some reason.

My mom calls my dad “daddy” all the time. And my dad calls her “mama”. Those are their names in the house.

The one where the older kids just collect the younger ones and leave in disgust 😅

If you didn’t say it growing up then they don’t get it. Different cultures

I am not into being called daddy by my wife at all. Even before I had kids. I find it immensely creepy.

    8. Not Daddy, since she was little, but I frequently will say Dad instead of his name. But we’ve never used it sexually, so its not something that would be embarrassing.

    9. It’s kinda disturbing that even the freakin 8 year olds heard a sexual annotation.

    10. My wife and I call each other mom/mommy and dad/daddy because that’s the names our kids use.

    11. I don’t understand how the youngest kids are finding it problematic… How do they even know about the innuendo or connotations? 🤔

My Mom and Dad were always Mom and Dad to each other and the rest of the family. It wasn’t the creepy “Daddy” though .. it was “go ask Mom” or “go ask Dad” – never thought anything about it.

The girl in the pink shirt and shorts stank face is palpable. Felt it through the screen.
