This has been my position. Rather than building walls and funding border guards, the US should be making Mexico Fucking Awesome. Cream the cartels, help the government maintain peace and order. Shit, get Mexico a universal healthcare system. If Mexico were half as awesome as the US, then people would stop there.

Oh, well that leads back to how the American government always was in the affairs of our countries (Coming from a Latino) simply to take advantage of us because of our natural resources and for wanting to install their own selected candidates to political office to do what they want (the American government) and go against the wishes of the people they are supposed to be representing.
