Look right -> left -> back -> left -> consider walking before you look left again.

I either stop and look both ways 2 times each or just walk straight across without missing a step and let god decide what happens, there is no middle ground

Oh I do it because I forget what direction they’re gonna come from.

Oh I’ve been hit by a biker in a one way street before and that’s because the genius police in our neighborhood decided to put the one way sign on both ends of the street when it should only be one with a no entry sign on the other.
So motorists and bikers on both ends of course naturally assume the one way sign meant they’re allowed to enter that way which ended in confusion when they end up seeing other motorists/bikers moving in the opposite direction.

If it’s a very wide one way street ambulances may go the wrong way to save time. Though if you get hit by an ambulance, the good thing is that it’s already there to take you to the hospital.

Having been almost hit by a car going the wrong way on a 1-way street, yes, I’m looking both ways.

Altima drivers are the cause of this.

I live between on a block bordering two one way streets and a college. The number of vehicles going the wrong way is too damn high.

I would imagine the sort of person who’s driving the wrong way down a one-way street would correlate pretty strongly with the sort of person who’d run over a pedestrian.

I always got off the bike to cross roads, saved my life once on a one way but the bike got flung anyway lol.
