    1. That always bugs me. For example, I’ll type in the first letter of my email address, suddenly red letters are screaming, “Invalid email!”

Let me fix that disclaimer for you.

“Your age won’t be shared publicly or used for advertising purposes, but we’ll sell the info to every business partner we possibly can.” – Google

Whats the max age it will accept? Like what if I was actually over 100?

    4. I feel like you should be able to age verification via pictures and questions, like having a rotary phone, pogs, a pet rock, baseball card + bicycle, and asking how they are used with limited time to respond.

    5. *Year 2145* “We need your ID, SSN, Body Tag #, Fingerprint, and your income before we allow you to use our GPS systems”.🙃

    6. Most common “birthday” on the Internet? It’s January 1st. I’m not even kidding.

You just need to “pick a year” (one you likely should “remember for verification purposes” later).

    7. I hope it doesnt block kids from using it if they are under 18. Like there were quite a few times when i was growing up that i missed the bus and my dad was out of town. So walking home was the only option.

Why does a fucking app that tells me where to drive need to know my fucking age.

I remember reading that a huge amount of steam accounts just left the default date and have birthdays as 1/1/1900. Which still makes them all older than the oldest person alive as the oldest person alive is born in 1909.

reminds me of how I like to troll my dad every time he brings up his birthday(1976) by asking how he’s still alive if he was born in the 1900’s lol

Respectfully only one of those I can verify and the other I highly doubt.

If it were Facebook/“Meta” I would just outright say this is false because Facebook engineers have admitted in court before they have no way of controlling what the data they collect is used for. Once they know something about you they’re unable to prevent themselves from misusing it.
