I’m sure that there will be some that vote blue, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch just didn’t vote at all. Of course I bet many will still vote red regardless of how extreme the Republican candidate is.

What they mean when they say they regret voting for Trump is they regret their gas, grocery, and electric bill and they hope next time around, there’s someone roughly 10-15% less chaotic than Trump to vote for.

People were pissed at Trump at the end of his last term. Specifically his mishandling of Covid and the George Floyd protests and just overall his lack of decorum. I know multiple people who weren’t maga but were republicans who voted for him in 2016 then voted for Biden in 2020 bc they were sick of the chaos. They went right back and voted for him in 2024. Now they’re regretting it again. One of them started posting anti Trump stuff on social media like a month after he took office about things we knew he was going to do. I don’t have any faith in people learning a lesson.
