    1. Doesn’t matter, everyone knows that the ninja turtles ones are the band aids that cure the better

    2. I cant believe I’ve come this far without realising band-aids are pink to match Caucasian skin tone.

    3. I asked my boyfriend to grab a couple band aids from work because we were out at home and I didnt feel like making a pit stop when I only needed one or two band aids.

I am black… but I’m light skinned. He came home with the darkest shade in the pack, and it cracked me up.

      I guess I’m glad he doesn’t see color 🤷🏾‍♀️

I didn’t even realize that band aids were supposed to match your skin tone. Who are you even trying to hide a cut from? Some predator who will eat you because you’re injured?

    5. Bandaid adhesive is not regulated and you can get contact dermatitis from them. Look for “latex-free” on the box but that’s still no guarantee.

Imagine going to the bandage station and holding up your finger to match the bandage shade like at the paint department with all the paint samples.

    7. Med Box has bandages in „skin tones“ other than the one white people think about.

      *ftfy*

Personally, I prefer band-aids for children. 😁 I would be very happy if I found some with alpaca prints in stores one day.

    8. I bought a box of these accidentaly, I am white but who cares right? Bandaid is a bandaid. Or Is this like having your hands wear blackface? Dumb white person here, no offence intended!

    9. Maybe this is going right over my head, but isn’t it a good thing to actually have a bandage that matches your skin tone?

    10. That’s good!

Just my experience – I always kind of thought the previous ‘standard’ color was an average skin tone, because I’m from northern europe and most of us historically from here don’t even tan, so the ‘standard’ band aids are significantly darker than our skin. They’re kind of “American-tan” coloured. I don’t know if that’s even a color name over the pond

    11. My office does this too. I was in awe of how many choices we have. With a very diverse workplace, I’m sure it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I never realized as a kid that Band-Aids were meant to be skin toned, I just assumed that is the natural color of whatever they used to make it.

the rumor back in the day was that nelly wore a band aid on his face to protest that the skin tone of band-aids was white; i think it ended up just being a tribute to a friend

I can’t believe this upsets so many racists. 😂 😆 🤣 😆 😅 Look at the comments. They seem to get triggered over everything.

    15. I use them at work. They buy those crappy plastic ones and the ‘tru-tone’ bandages are fabric. Way better.

I miss those bright neon ones from the 90’s. Do they still make those anymore?
