They must have great cardio health in this city.

It looks cleaner, better, more interesting, and much more pedestrian-friendly than most U.S. cities.Â

Amazing how stories like *Ghost in the Shell* inspire futuristic aesthetics when the setting was more or less a 1:1 copy of the real world.

This is clearly where the next Avatar after Korra is going to be running into Ahsoka Tano in some crossover sequel.
Please?

Meanwhile Shenzhen… man you can find suppliers 3am sunday in Shenzhen and they don’t even complain about it because how normal it is to them.

We should understand that “More neon lights” >< “Rich” and “Old Crowded Apartments” >< “Poor”. That’s the wrong definition of rich and poor that Dubai has mis-understood and that’s why their billion $$$ cities looks and feels worse than an Indian Slum.
These pictures are great but by no mean should it be interpreted that those Neon City is the rich areas and vice-versa. I can guarantee you, there are quite a lot of $ millionaires living in those crowed apartments. Why? Because despite the lowkey looks, their inside is much more live-able: Homey, Communities, Convenient, Neighborhood compares to the TV-like President Suite Hotel room amid the Neon city.
The hugely rich guys are living in the country-side growing vegetables and breathing fresh natural air never worry about waking up on time to squeeze into an elevator.

Is this the city where it’s damn near impossible to find the ground level? I want to go there and sell slinkies to tourists.

It’s visually stunning, but oh my gosh those steps. Residents must be fit from doing all those stairs.

Not really poor like, except that walking to places with so many elevations must be miserable, specially with that hot humid climate they enjoy
