After disembarking in Nagasaki (after Hiroshima)

    2. This nigga can’t even say these people did anything to him or gave him a reason to think this, he just projecting his fantasies on Twitter 😭

    3. The western mind cannot comprehend the competitive xenophobia of the average Japanese person

    4. It’s a common perception in some parts. Even in their sports Manga when Black (or even White) people enter late into the story its like an endgame obstacle.

Kuroko no basket and Eyeshield 21 are some of the earliest examples I remember. One specific part in jujutsu kaisen also has it happen.

I was in Japan recently and was on a crowded train and the tallest other person on there and the next car I could see through the window was maybe 3 inches shorter than me and my shoulders were broader than everyone. Even the fat ones. They kinda got a point.

I tell people Being dark skin, is just different. And they say I’m delusional

    7. This shit mad funny but every Japanese person i interacted with when I visited was normal unlike this person

    8. I’ve not been there in decades but back in early 2000s, black men were treated like gods. Does anyone have 1st hand knowledge

    9. I didn’t want to pin down his feeble ass before, but his post is crying out for it.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, reports of violence against Asian Americans surged in traditional and social media, often depicting an Asian victim attacked by a Black assailant and suggesting heightened Black animosity toward Asian Americans. Scholars have challenged this Black-Asian conflict narrative by highlighting that White perpetrators commit over 75% of anti-Asian hate crimes.” https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/15564886.2024.2353787

“But the actual number of reported incidents targeting people of Asian descent last year was relatively small, with 274 crimes, compared with the number of incidents targeting Black people. In 2020, there were 2,755 reported incidents targeting Black or African American people in the U.S. — a nearly 40% spike from the year before — making them the most targeted racial group by a wide margin, according to the FBI.” https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/30/fbi-says-hate-crimes-against-asian-and-black-people-rise-in-the-us.html
