    1. Streaming” in 2026 basically means scrolling for two hours and then going to sleep without watching anything.

    2. The 2016 internet just felt more human, Everything now is just an algorithm trying to sell me something

    3. Not to mention the cost of those streaming services has like doubled since then and most have as many ads as cable.

Streaming and “upgraded” tech sounds good on surface, then you realize we had it better with less like the early 2010s and the 2000s.

This is a weird argument. This year sucks, but the best y’all can do is 2016?

I had all the shows in the world in 2016 it was better than now now you have to find which corp bought that specific show, before it was smooth sailing

Crazy to see memes quoting 2016 as the good times. I remember seeing memes saying how 2006 was elite in 2016 lol

I’m so damn old I reference the 90s as the good times. Music was on MTV, cartoons had plots, anime was being introduced to the States, the Internet was in its infancy, memes actually made relatable sense, you could talk about any random television show without worrying about spoiling it, and subcultures were actually gatekept from tourists.

I wish I could go back to 1902 because I wasn’t born yet and could catch up on some rest

    10. “better streaming” bro we literally just reinvented cable television but now it costs $150 across 8 different apps with unskippable ads
