      The [actual article](https://www.vogue.com/article/cloud-bob) doesn’t include that picture, but does include multiple multicultural examples of a layered, floaty bob cut. The Google image search for ‘cloud bob’ only links to this image once — to someone using it to shit stir on Twitter.

      i don’t think they’re gentrifying afros. i looked at the vogue article, the thing tho is that the style the stylist calls cloud bob already exists.idk the name but it already exists. these are examples of people rocking the “cloud bob”. they mention it works best on 4c hair ,the hairstyle doesn’t look like an afro and the image example used in this post is not mentioned or used in the article

      They do this with everything we create because no one wants us to have anything that exclusively belongs to us. We create it. They take it, change it up, water it down and then don’t give any credit. Then get mad when we bring up that we’re the ones that created it. It’s insane. Look at what’s happened with AAVE.
