    1. Your list has more than just programming languages. I see a few query languages as well as HTML (a markup language) and CSS (a style sheet language) combined together.

    2. Are Objective-C and Go so high up because they are used at Apple and Google respectively? (both companies pay to of the market salaries)

    3. The data source is the Stack Overflow developer survey, so I guess participants skew high-salary within the occupation– these numbers are much higher than what’s reported by more general surveys.

    4. Some of the variation is probably regional, so it’s hard to tell what might represent languages popular in high-cost-of-living cities vs. more distributed user bases.
