This story is fucking wild; the guys stole his boat, he and his buddy tracked the thieves down the Missouri (I think?) for multiple days on a hastily made raft in the middle of winter, caught them, and then had to hike them out of the wilderness for more days to stand trial. All of this was done on a whim, with like 1 hour of prep time.
