Question: how did this project materialize in terms of idea, who did you reach out to, likelihood of success, etc? Was this some kind of group, brainstorm sesh or did someone have a random shower thought and put it out there?

but at the same time, apparently their marketing / social media accounts were like: ignore it, keep doing it

Wouldn’t be a bad idea to come with a companion phone app that allows you to configure to customisable coordinates, so you can change the location.
It’d be like having captain Jack sparrows compass.
It would be cool if these were programmable so you could set it to always point to whichever location you want
