    1. That’s 100% in line with Marxism. The famous “under no pretext” quote by Marx is about [this exact scenario](https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/communist-league/1850-ad1.htm):

      “In a word, from the very moment of victory the workers’ suspicion must be directed no longer against the defeated reactionary party but against their former ally, against the party which intends to exploit the common victory for itself…To be able forcefully and threateningly to oppose this party, whose betrayal of the workers will begin with the very first hour of victory, the workers must be armed and organized….Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.”
