Little misleading on the American part. Every job I worked at has had paid leave. But this meme is specifically talking about after *6* weeks, which I haven’t worked at a job where I had 6 weeks of paid leave in a year before.

German here: if you are long-term or chronical sick and unfit to work, you get paid those 70% for 1.5 years with full health insurance and health resort treatment (if necessary).
