      Those eyes are bizarre. The Romans were, at the same time, both very familiar but weirdly alien.

      Nice of the Reddit app on my phone to crop and enlarge the middle part of this picture so I have zoomed in picture of a tiny statue penis in my feed

      The bumps in the bronze, did they fuck up the mould or something? It appears to be a defect and I can’t remember seeing this kind of texture in other Greek bronzes but I’m no expert
