    1. If the employer can’t afford the staff without mandatory tips they don’t have a functional business model

      If a tip is mandatory just put it as service charge (it’s common in southeast Asia)

    3. Can you pay whatever you want for a “fee?” Can you pay nothing and receive the service? Doesn’t sound like much of a fee.

      I only tip local businesses. Corporate chains don’t need any extra money.

      Do people think Americans actually like and/or approve of the tipping system?

    6. it’s just a system for corporations to guilt-trip customers into paying their employees’ wages for them

      Does any place other then the US even do tipping culture? Like I’m in Canada and we really don’t have that here
