The audacity of a calculator app asking for notifications like it’s got breaking news.

    2. The don’t even ask that anymore, it’s yes or not now

If a human talks to you like that they are abusive

In before companies get greedy enough that they force phone producers to disable the choice in the OS somehow.

“The app may not work properly without notifications.

      Allow notifications?

      (Yes) (Ask later)”

And some of them either ask every weak or every time they update.

What makes you think I want something I already said no for over a year, app?

    6. “Would you like the app to track your usage of other apps for a better experience?”

“Yes or ask not to track.”

Glad to know I can at least ask not to have my data stolen before it happens.

    7. It’s not even just apps anymore. Actual websites are doing this bullshit, too. No, I don’t want your notifications and I visited your website on my browser so I don’t have to install your spyware.

    8. Even the apps I have interest in notifications I need to say no because there is no way to opt out of the ads notifications.

    9. I let Pokemon TCGP send notifications and it scared the shit outta me. Why does it have to be so loud?! There’s no volume slider, it’s just ‘Off’ or ‘WAKETHEFUCKUPYOUGOTAPACKTOOPEN!’

The Uber app is a major violator of personal space if you let it have notification access. Off!
