    1. My mom took me during trick or treat hours so I wouldn’t get candy. Didn’t know until after we got home.

Back when ‘The Force’ was just a cool new concept and not a 40-year tax commitment.

    3. Uh definitely not my grandparents. They were in their 30s. I know my mom was in line though, she was in her teens

    4. Ummmmmm… I’m not that old

Looks at my 21 year old son…

Well, at least Gen x has mostly aged phenomenally well lol

    5. Everyone on Reddit is a fetus. My grandparents in 1977 assumed a more correct role of Red Foreman calling all of them a dumbass.

My grandparents could visit/make out at the more graphic pre-Hayes Code movies. If someone puts up a ‘*most of our cooler grandparents in 1934*’ pic, and I’ll give you an upvote. If my math is right, both of my grandfathers owned or had already wrecked his father’s car once then and likely hadn’t met my two grandmothers, so they had the option of going to the movies or -ahem- parking.

    6. No. That was ME standing in line like this for Star Wars in 1977 (yes, I’m fucking old)

Well, my grandfather was in that line with me. I’m 55 now, so he would’ve been 115 today.

If the parents were 17 when standing in line for the film, then had kids at 22, who in turn had kids at 22, that would make the grandkids 22 years old now.
