I mean, At least one of those Groups eventually got what they wanted. Granted it wasn’t a Very **KIND** Group Though.

What is NDV? I feel like somehow totalitarian ideologies had a new patch and I missed it

The History of the Weimar Republic thought me that extremists on both sides will do anything to destroy democracy. This is why as a social democrat I despise commies.

Thing is the SPD also committed a lot of blunders.

Of course, it could be worse. You could be 90s Russia, where all three major sides/candidates had very spurious commitment to democracy and two of them wanted to end it.

The communists when they are unwilling to play by the rules of democracy and want to violently overthrow it, only for the supporters of democracy to form a broad coalition against them, even if they hate each other.

    6. Mf really be like “when the collapse happens we’ll take full advantage of it” and then not make preparations to take advantage of it

    7. And in the end the KPD were half right, they played the long game and got half of Germany

    8. It is interesting how very different the Italian Socialists and Communists parties acted very differently in comparison to the Germans one, in the rise of Fascists.

The communists wanted worker’s rights and collective ownership of industry, the nazis wanted to put ethnic minorities into ovens, they’re not the fucking same

Hilarious watching the pro-SDP liberals squirting literal Nazi propaganda against the KDP (the only obstacle to the Nazis, mind you).

    12. Ah the Weimar communists, more willing to let the literal Nazis take power than ally themselves with the party that shared 80% of their beliefs
