Incredible flower vase in a German painting from 1490. The ornament and the 5-pass opening have the shape of stylized lily blossoms, matching the actual flowers. Is anything like that preserved from the middle ages? [3120×4160]

    1. About the closest I could find was a modern Hibiscus fluted vase , nothing else except in paintings

    2. That ornamental precision in 1490. Meanwhile people now crinkle crisp packets during pivotal scenes at the Almeida.
