      It was the same during the deluge in the late 1600s: Poland-Lithuania was almost entirely partitioned by Sweden, Russia, and the Cossacks. It’s insanely impressive that they managed to survive that

      The Kościuszko Uprising was cool.

      Too bad PLC was way too weak that that point. They finally fixed the most dysfunctional government pre-1800 only to get squashed.
