The "Doodh Pilai" (milk feeding) or "Aanchal Peena" is a traditional, symbolic Rajasthani wedding ritual where a mother symbolically breastfeeds her adult son before he departs for his wedding. Performed in certain communities, it represents the final act of a mother's nurture and his transition into a new life.

Don’t think this is a common practice or a “Rajasthani practice” as you claim.
I am not from there, but I have been to a few Marwari weddings in Rajasthan.
India is home to thousands and thousands of communities, big and small. Some of them end up evolving some weird customs over the ages.
