Unfortunately, I can’t say much about the exact location in this photograph. The caption says Kyiv, but it’s difficult to identify the place.
It seems that the bride is standing in the center of the image, so this may have been part of a wedding photo series.
One funny detail is the blurred hand on the left — someone was probably trying to turn the child toward the camera without blocking the bride. Children, of course, have always been difficult subjects for photographers.
Having stereoscopic equipment didn’t always guarantee a successful photograph. The composition had to follow certain rules for the depth effect to work properly.
This image is actually composed very well for stereoscopic depth — the layering of people and space creates a strong sense of three-dimensionality when viewed in 3D.
Converted from an original stereoscopic card into a red-cyan anaglyph for modern 3D glasses. If people are interested, I can share more Ukrainian stereoscopic photos from the early 1900s.

Cool effect! Looks like 4 color printing that’s out of register. As we would joke in the pressrooom “get your 3-D glasses now!”
