From what I can tell, it’s literally just outsourcing a restaurant’s dishwashing. The only thing they’re selling is that this Cercle company comes by regularly to take the dirty dishes, wash them at their facility, and then return it to the restaurant.

There was a thing like this for e-commerce packing a few years ago, a folding plastic box the retailer would ship in, then you would flat pack it and send it back. I don’t think it lasted very long.

It makes sense in a food court/food hall situation. None of the little restaurants are going to have the space to wash their own plates.

I like how the pic of them putting the plate into the bin is just a very obvious photohop of a hand over the same exact photo of the plate. Who would hold it like that?
