Couldn’t agree more. People need to vote with their wallets and stop buying this expensive bullshit.

    2. Console victims really need to stop just buying shit. The “aaa” company thrives off the victim mentality of just buy the next one anyways. Games and consoles.

The second that pay for access to your own internet shit started consoles should have been dropped.

Everything prices keep seeming unbearable because we don’t force them to value our labor as a cost of business.

Long as there’s stupid ass kids to beg their rich parents to buy them these overpriced games and consoles, nothing will ever change

    5. remember when a new console was $299 and we thought that was expensive? take me back

Nintendo fans bitching about the Switch 2 being expensive/Nintendo being greedy while simultaneously making it one of the fastest selling consoles ever:

    7. It’s not like consoles were ever an impulse purchase. It’s always been something you gotta save up for. Increasing the prices just means you gotta save up a little bit more. But I guess if you do then you’re part of the problem now?

    8. Just get a steam deck and a dock so you can play it on the TV with the controller of your choice.

    9. Pure bollocks. The prices will keep rising regardless of sales, just becoming more and more of a luxury for the wealthy.

The cost of components keeps rising and what, console manufactures are going to take a loss to keep the gamers happy?

Supply and demand. If you let the companies know you’re willing to pay more (because you paid more) you are telling the company it was okay to raise prices

    11. That’s not true at all, Nintendo is ramping down production because of lackluster sales

    12. Aren’t console prices inline with inflation pretty well? The original playstation was $299 in 1995. That would be about $650 today which is…. the price of a playstation.
