    1. Coconuts that grow as a root that you pull out of the ground? Fucking AI right? The bananas look fucking crazy too.

Edit – sorry everyone, didn’t realize that coconuts could do that, and had never seen bananas like that either. I’ll take the downvotes to the chin though. Lesson learned.

There are soooo many sprouted coconut laying around the roads down here is South Florida.

Maybe next time I’ll stop my car, pull out my car machete, and go to town! I’m sure no one will find me odd or worrisome. After all, this is Florida! Haha

As someone who used to live in a tropical country, sprouted coconut is interesting.

Idk if you need a special type of coconut or something, but when I decided to cut a sprouted one open to eat it tasted like cardboard.
The closest thing I can compare it to is a sponge that breaks up and that tastes a bit woody. So pretty much spongy cardboard.

Indian here. I wouldn’t put sprouted coconut above papaya.

It’s slightly sweeter than coconut, and less dense texture. That’s it.

    6. I’ve tried most fruit that I can get my hands on at least once just because. Many exotic fruit haven’t caught on for a reason. They look cool. But are about a 5 on a scale of 1-10.

Papaya is an acquired taste, some people I know compare it to vomit. I think it’s delicious especially when cold but I didn’t think that when I was younger, I guess maybe the taste is different when grown in your backyard too
