This was me with Steins Gate, the first few episodes are slow but then it hits

Black Clover dismissed it as “just another shounen Naruto rip off but with wizards” I gave it another shot and binged it for a while.

    3. Literally JoJo’s for me. Got bored around Phantom Blood ep 5, 3 years later came back and got hooked on ep 6 and watched everything in 2 months. Really excited to see all of part 7 when it comes out.

    4. It was actually Frieren for me, I read a few chapters of the manga way before the anime even got announced, when the anime came out, I gave it like 3 tried but it never really clicked, I mostly just dropped after a few episodes, after a while when I actually had a lot more free time I gave it a watch and binged the entire thing and realized why everyone called it peak

Expecting the same roller coaster about season two though, I still haven’t watched it as I’m currently watching Apothecary Diaries

Yeah, that happens some times. By the way, is it a coincidence that it’s mostly romance/romcom?

      – Busou Renkin
      – Clannad
      – Dangers In My Heart
      – Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Because I’ve watched it immediately after Fullmetal Alchemist. BIG MISTAKE! Both series are good in their own ways, but their beginning is too similar.)
      – Golden Time
      – Horimiya
      – Just Because
      – One Piece (This is the reason for why I started to watch anime on a regular basis. Well…The current entertainment value isn’t very high either.)
      – Uzaki-chan wants to hang out.

Sometimes, it doesn’t even need to be the entire series.
      – Date A Live S3 (Don’t get me wrong. It’s the worst example of time travel I’ve ever seen, but the rest of the season is so good that I don’t even care anymore.)
      – High School DxD S4

might be joining the list: Jigokuraku (S1 was alright, but it was one of those seasons that are basically just set-up for things to come. I’ll eventually rewatch it, now that S2 is available, but I’m not in a hurry with it.)

      Code geass.

The art style was wack and wasn’t a big fan of mechas. But my friend insisted and I am ever so grateful to him for insisting. Missed out on real peak.

**Tengen toppan gurren lagann** and **Non non biyori** for me

Ttpl because the first couple of episode just didn’t catch my attention, but in the third time I decided to stich to it. Episode 3 or 4 with the sharp tooth guy arriving epically and aurafarming without reason was were I stated to see the peak there

Non non biyori because there was one character that I didn’t like. The show spend almost equal time between the main four, so it was hard to me to keep watching. The second time I decided to stick to it, and I found out that I didn’t like her because she reminds me of myself when I was younger. She became one of my favorite characters in anime, and the anime one of my top ten

Blood Blockade Battlefront. I dont know why, but when I first tried to watch it like 4 years ago, I did not like it. And then about 1 year later I gave it another shot and said to myself “why the fuck did I not like this?”

    9. My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha was this for me. That beginning is rough, but it was a good time for what it is.

      Azumanga Daioh for me.

The first episodes are too slow paced. But somewhere the anime fixes it and becomes peak

    11. That’s how I felt about Kill La Kill. I started it when I was newer to anime and didn’t watch past the first episode. Tried it again a few years later after watching a lot more anime, and I absolutely loved it

    12. Golden Kamuy for me. Just kinda dropped it after 3 episodes when the 1 season came out and started up again a few weeks ago. Love the Jojo-esque insanity and genetal mix of comedy, peak action and cooking amime
