Out of cardboard? It’s not really a viola then. A model of a viola

Geez the people are spicy today. I think it’s interesting and I used to play violin so I know how technical that must be. 😊

So far it’s pretty well done. It’s missing the very slight convex curves on either side of the body but that’s probably pretty hard to replicate in cardboard. I kinda hope he tries to string it with something. I’d be real curious if it manages to make any noise.

I wonder what it will sound like since it has a different resonance than wood. Also wondering about structural stability with it being super hollow

Hello! I actually recently made a wooden, Lyre, and I’m a true viola player! (Never played violin). Looks very good, is it going to have strings?

What is the purpose of this? Is he hoping it’ll actually produce a decent sound, or is it more of an art or engineering piece, or a prop for something like a play?
