Body hair might seem pointless, but it actually helps shield us from mosquito bites.

    1. Evolution really said “here’s some natural bug spray” and we’ve been ignoring the memo.

    2. So our body has really evolved for particular reasons. Are there more such examples?

Why is it dense in certain areas? Are those regions more attractive to mosquitos as well as other humans?

Damn this explains why we were super hairy and the mosquitos were big in response lol

I’ve never had a mosquito bite on my balls.

I did have a leech once, however

    6. Don’t people have less body hair in climates that have a lot of mosquitoes?

Seems like keeping the body cooler is more important than protecting it from bug bites.

    7. …as a woman, I can’t grow enough body hair to save me this summer, and that feels bad now.

Yeah if your mosquitoes are dumb.

Mine have satellite imaging and surgical drone strike capabilities – they target no hair areas of the body.
